Just me and my girl
Our annual summer walkabout began differently this year. With a change in work schedule and when the balloon rally in Salina, Utah was held I headed out first. Ernie would catch up at the next balloon rally in Panguitch.
K’Ehleyr and I spent the first night on the road at the Calico Ghost Town campground just north of Barstow, CA. It was mostly empty and extremely windy. The 19 mph gusts were rocking the trailer all night. The campground was mostly empty. Dogs weren’t allowed in the actual Ghost Town so I didn’t play tourist other than a quick look at the cemetery.
