Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park get a 1-paw rating. It doesn't have any dog friendly hikes. There are many dog friendly hikes outside the park.
Great Dane travel tells our stories of road tripping with our Great Danes. We have had four different Great Danes who have all traveled with us. During our travels, we have explored much of the northwest US as well as parts of Baja California and Canada.
While on the road our Danes get to explore, camp and hike in National and State Parks and Monuments. They also attend hot air balloon rallies around the country.
By sharing our stories I hope to encourage other Great Dane parents to not leave their dogs at home. Take them with you. You both will have richer, fuller lives together.

Dinosaur National Monument
Dinosaur National Monument has 1 dog friendly trail in Utah and a few more in Colorado. Dogs can also travel with you to the exhibit hall but not inside of it.

Martok gives his view of Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico. It isn't dog friendly but nearby DOE land has some dog friendly areas.
Cedar Breaks National Monument
Cedar Breaks National Monument has 2 dog friendly trails. Dogs can also enjoy the overlooks along the 5 mile scenic drive with you.
