Wupatki and Sunset Crater Volcano National Monuments
Wupatki and Sunset Crater National Monuments are not dog friendly parks. The surrounding Coconino National Forest is dog friendly.
Parks rated as 1 paw parks allow dogs only on roads and paved areas. Additionally they are not to be left unattended in a vehicle for very long or at all.
Many National Parks fall in the 1 paw rating category. You can still visit these parks with your dog but your activities will be extremely limited. While there are no official pet trails there may be little used roads that you can walk with your pet.

Glacier National Park is not pet friendly but is a BARK ranger park. There are frequent wildlife sightings and dogs can upset the natives.
While there are lots for humans to do in Big Bend National Park, it is not very dog friendly. Also the local wildlife, Javelinas, can be aggressive and usually win their battles with dogs.
Big Hole National Battlefield is small area and has only 3 trails. Dogs are not allowed on the trails but can walk the paved areas.
